Charles "Roscoe" Boone, 92, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was born September 24, 1929 in Nash County to the late Thomas and Mabel Baines Boone. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Boone; one brother Donald Boone; two sisters Rebecca Finch and Dorothy Griffin.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 10-10:45 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
