Obria "Tom" Nelon Poland, 87, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born in Nash County April 20, 1934 to the late Elmer and Lessie Winstead Poland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Blonnie Jean Poland; brothers Eugene, Sylvester, James and Carlton Poland.
He is survived by son, Jason Poland (Christy); brothers Robert Alvin Poland, Jerry Poland; sisters Tempie Dillard (Hughes), and Dell Carpenter.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery. |
