LEMUEL "LEMMIE" JACKSON SUMMERLIN JR.

Lemmie Summerlin, 77, passed away September 30, 2022. He was born on November 4, 1944 in Edgecombe County to the late Lemuel Jackson Sr. and Estelle Summerlin. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lemuel Summerlin Sr. and Estelle also his sister Betty Joyce Summerlin.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Jeffrey Summerlin (April), Eric Summerlin (Kimberly), Brad Summerlin (Paige), nine grandchildren; siblings Jerry Summerlin (Joan), Jimmy Summerlin (Nell), Tony Summerlin (Betty Gail), Mary Ann Holland (Randy), many nieces and nephews.

A visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 6-7:30 p.m.with funeral service to follow at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
