CYNTHIA ANN SPEIGHT

GREENVILLE - Cynthia Ann Speight, age 68, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. Born in Nash County on December 17, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Horace Shearon and Johnnie Belle Wheeler Shearon.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Jimmy Speight; her daughters, Heather Pernell, of Newport News, VA and Jennifer Hemilright and husband, Benjamin "Benji", of Cary; her step-daughter, Cheryl Mastroianni and husband, Greg, of Charlotte; her step-son, Andy Speight and wife, Hilde, of Greenville; six grandchildren; and her brothers, Jimmy Shearon and wife, Laurie, of Elm City, and John Robert "Howdy" and wife, Brenda, of Rocky Mount.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation with the family will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made in Cynthia's memory to The National Kidney Foundation, 7413 Six Forks Rd #255, Raleigh, NC 27615.
