Mr. John Robert Mitchell, Sr. was born March 3, 1935 and quietly passed away on December 29, 2022. John was born in Castalia, Nash County, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.

Given the ongoing threat of COVID infections, a memorial service and interment will occur in the spring/summer of 2023.
