WILLIAM CECIL BARNES

William Cecil Barnes, 77, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023. He was born November 1, 1945 in Nash County to the late William and Retha Cooley Barnes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Gina Barnes; sister Jean Frazier; brother-in-law Fred Frazier.

Cecil is survived by his wife of 24 years, Debbie Moss Barnes; daughters, Michelle Pierce and fiancé Chad Tharrington, Randi Holland and husband Brandon; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister Joyce Jones; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and many other extended family.

A service was held April 21, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Bass officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
