Albert Preston Holmes, 69, passed away April 28, 2023. He was born May 1, 1953 to the late Albert Holmes Jr. and Nancy Pittman Holmes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Holmes; brother Gregg Holmes; great niece Destiny Raynor; step-father Leon Eason; step-son Jeff Jackson.

He is survived by his sisters Debra Bailey and Nancy Holmes; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held May 1, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's, Tender Mercies Pet Organization or The Shriner's Children's Hospital.
