JUDITH ANN JOHNSON JAMES

NASHVILLE - Judith Ann Johnson James, 55, passed away on Monday, May 22. Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 27 from 12-1 p.m. at Rise Church, 313 West Washington Street, Nashville. A funeral service will be held at Rise Church at 1 p.m. Pastor Richard Gurganus will officiate.

Judith is survived by her daughter, Ashley Bell and husband, Scott of Rocky Mount; son, Andrew Wilson of Rocky Mount; step-daughters, Stefanie Manning and husband, Philip of Rocky Mount, and Sara James and partner, Skylar McKinney of Nashville; sister, Linda Evans and husband, Doug; brother, Wayne Johnson and partner, Glenn; mother, Geraldine Johnson; and six grandchildren.

Judith was preceded in death by her loving husband, Matthew James; father, Burley Johnson; and nephew, Douglas Evans, Jr.
