ROCKY MOUNT - Carol Denton Hales, age 76, passed away June 23, 2023.

Carol's was born June 22, 1947 in Nash County to Sidney and Lenora B. Denton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Kerry Michelle Newell.

Carol is survived by her sister, Kay D. Newell and husband, Terry of Red Oak; a niece, nephew and great-nieces.

A service was held June 26, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Rocky Mount In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to First Baptist Church of Rocky Mount.
