Joyce Ann Powell Harvey, 52, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born November 28, 1971 in Nash County. Joyce was preceded in death by her father Marion Elmo Powell; maternal grandparents, Tom and Cleo Corbett; paternal grandparents, Marion and Lillie Powell.

She is survived by her mother, Clara Powell; her husband of 26 years, Edward Harvey; brother, Charles Adrian Powell (Stephanie).

A visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Ted Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Powell Family Cemetery across the road from 1199 Powell Rd. Rocky Mount.
