Peggie Leonard Stroud, 82, of Rocky Mount/Wilson passed away on July 23, 2023. Peggie was born on March 6, 1941, daughter of Clint and Marjorie Leonard; brother, Alvin Leonard, her daughter Kathy Winstead and late husband Dee Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Stroud; sons Stan Harris (Wendy), Mark Harris (Donielle), daughters Carol Alton (Brent); Connie Skinner (Scott); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren' one great-great-grandchild; and her niece and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home on August 1, 2023. Visitation will start at 1p.m. with the service following at 2 p.m. A private burial for the family will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to one of Peggie's favorite charity organizations: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the ASPCA.
