Funeral services for Marjorie Williams Richardson, age 78, who died on Monday, July 31, 2023, will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. from the St. John 3:16 Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount with Pastor Kenneth Richardson, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

She is the daughter of the late Haywood and Allie Bell Williams of Louisburg, NC

She is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Williams (Lawrence) of Matthews, LaTrenda Richardson-McClendon (Phillip) of Charlotte, Kiesha Richardson-Bell (Roosevelt) of Harrisburg; one son, Charles Richardson, Jr. of Charlotte; five sisters, Lena Viola Lee of Springfield, MA, Irene Lynch (Mack) and Rita Mitchell, both of Chicopee, MA, Gladys Alston of Louisburg, Candies Powell of Indian Land, SC; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at St. John 3:16 Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.
