KAYE POLLARD SHEARIN

ROCKY MOUNT - Kaye Pollard Shearin, age 67, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. Born in Edgecombe County on December 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Herman Hardy Pollard and Ora Belle O'Neal Pollard. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Dare Pollard Glover, and her brothers, Kenneth Ray Pollard and Charles Hardy Pollard.

Kaye is survived by her husband, James M. Shearin; her daughters, Frances Tevepaugh and husband, James, and Stephanie Keel and husband, Walter; her son, Gregory Shearin and wife, Tracey; sixgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sister, Mary Pollard Nichols and husband, George; her sisters-in-law, Rachel Pollard and Frances Pollard; her brother-in-law, Billy Glover; and many nieces and nephews.

A special gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount.
