NASHVILLE - Funeral services for William McKinley Alston, age 93, who died on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 1 p.m. from the Galatia AME Church in Nashville with Rev. Christopher Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Rev. Cathy Alston-Kearney of Warrenton; one son, Joseph McKinley Alston (Vicki) of High Point; one sister, Lois Dean Reaper of Greensboro; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. at Galatia AME Church in Nashville.
