JUSTIN TYLER TANT

GREENSBORO - Justin Tyler Tant, age 39, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. He was born in Nash County on March 15, 1984. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laudis and Esther Tant; and his maternal grandparents, Rev. Nelson and Polly Vinson.

Justin is survived by his mother, Ruth Vinson Coker (Matt) of Rocky Mount; his father, William Laudis Tant, Jr. (Debbie) of Charlotte; his sister, Elizabeth Blackmon (Brian), of Hillsborough; two nephews and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Brandon Dees and Skip Carney officiating. A private burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in Justin's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
