NASHVILLE - Diane Battle, age 81, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023.
A funeral service was held August 30, 2023 at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church, Nashville. Interment followed at Forest Hills Cemetery, Nashville.
She is survived by five children, Rita Holden of Nashville, Samuel Battle (Audrey) of Rocky Mount, Stanley Battle (Joyce) of Nashville, Katrina Holden (Patrick) of Wendell, Pamela Avent (Dwight) of Nashville, and one grandchild; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Barbara Braxton of Newport News, VA; one niece. |
