Joseph Clifton Manning, Sr., 84, passed away November 1, 2023. He was born June 6, 1939 in Nash County to the late James and Leah Vick Manning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Joe Ann Manning.

He is survived by one son, Jay Manning, Jr. (Ellen), one grandchild; one great grandchild; and cousins.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, November 3, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
