ROCKY MOUNT - Marvin Lee Moore, age 79, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Born in Nash County on October 7, 1944, he was the son of the late William Ashley Moore and Ruby Pridgen Moore. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Rueben Moore and Bobby Ray Moore; his daughter, Rose Marie Weatherly; and his granddaughter, Heather Lee Drake.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois Williams Moore; his son, Michael Lee Moore and wife, Beverly, of Rocky Mount; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Bettie Ruth Lynch; and many several nieces and nephews.
A Special gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. |
