NELLIE DRIVER PERRY

BATTLEBORO - Nellie Driver Perry, age 91, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. Born in Nash County on December 26, 1931, she was the youngest child of the late Lonnie D. Driver and Tempie Bone Driver. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles Howard Perry; and her eight siblings, Kathleen Styres, Irene Fisher, Annie Mae Griffin, William David Driver, Marjorie Leonard, Lonnie "L.D." Driver, Archie Driver, and Lula Bell Boone.

Nellie is survived by her son, David Graham Perry and wife, Donna; three grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service was held November 25, 2023 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Mausoleum with Pastor Mark Pridgen officiating. Entombment followed the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nellie's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
