ROCKY MOUNT - Kerney Emeles Harrison, age 65, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Born in Nash County on April 23, 1958, he was the son of the late Kerney Swept Harrison and Edith Lee Matthews Harrison.

Kerney is survived by his wife, Bridget Ezzell Harrison; his two children, Lee McGary and Michael Stallings and his life partner, Taylor Morgan; his sisters, Carolyn Joyner and Jean Pridgen and her husband, Al; his brother, Randy Harrison; one nephew; two nieces.

A private family service will be held.
