TARBORO - Connie Watson, age 58, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Born in Edgecombe County on August 24, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Fred Joseph Phillips and Mary Britt Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Fred Phillips Jr.; aunt, Donna Phillips; uncle Bobby Jean Phillips; nephew, Brandon Claiborne, and her cousin Jeff Webber.
Connie is survived by her husband of 25 years, Wayland Ashley Watson; daughters, Adrienne Marie Phillips of Whitakers, Jennifer Thorpe of Tarboro; one grandchild; sisters, Angela Wachowicz (John) of Nashville, Cathy Bell (Jeff) of Tarboro; and aunts, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. |
