Funeral services for Chester Lee Cyrus of Miami, FL (formerly of Hollister), age 86, who died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Sidney Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by four daughters, Charlotte St. Lawrence (Evans) of Naugatuck, CT, Kathy Kim Campbell of Easton, PA, Lisa Stewart of Melbourne, FL, Jennifer Myers of Auburn, WA; three sons, Chester Lee "Cookie" Cyrus, Jr. of Niceville, FL, Calvin Silver (Margie) of Hollister, Scott Cyrus (Rebecca) of Melbourne, FL; four sisters, Dorothy Davis of Bethlehem, PA, Eloise Moore of Plainfield, NJ, Geraldine Richardson of Louisburg; Mary Elliott (Edward) of East Orange, NJ; one brother, Douglas Cyrus (Althea) of Hampton, VA; sixteen grandchildren, 25 grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5-6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
