PHILIP WARREN BARNES

NASHVILLE - Philip Warren Barnes, age 66, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024. He was born in Nash County on November 8, 1957 to James Robert and Joyce Proctor Barnes, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Barnes McLaughlin and Rhonda Brown (Tracy); one nephew; long-time girlfriend, Brenda Farmer.

A service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2024 at Davis-Little Funerals, 2129 Lawrence Circle, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment will follow at Barnes Family Cemetery.

While floral arrangements are welcome, those wishing to make memorial donations may consider Purrfect Hearts Cat Rescue, PO Box 7725, Wilson, NC 27895.
