Ricky Dessie Proctor, 72, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born June 9, 1951 in Edgecombe County to the late James and Nellie Williams Proctor.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beth Proctor; two sons, Phillip Proctor (Stacie) and Matt Proctor (Ashli); brother, James Proctor; sister, Delores Hire (Steve); three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Suber officiating. Visitation with family and friends will follow.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice Foundation.
