RED OAK - Ellen Patricia Walker, age 73, passed away August 12, 2024. She was born in Nash County on April 14, 1951. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Lula Daniels Walker; her brother, Donald Henry Walker; and her sister-in-law, Sandra Sykes Walker.
Ellen is survived by her father, Jim Henry Walker of Red Oak; her sister, Sylvia Walker Powell and husband, Allen of Red Oak; her brother, Francis Charles "Buddy" Walker of Spring Hope; her niece and nephew and cousin.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Daniel West officiating. Burial will follow the service at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
