LUCILLE WRENN ALFORD

ROCKY MOUNT - Lucille Wrenn Alford, age 89, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. Born in Franklin County on March 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Ollie Jack Wrenn, Sr. and Margie Josephine Smith Wrenn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Earnest Alford; her sisters, Elsie Mae Wrenn Joyner and Helen Wrenn Jackson; and her brothers, Maurice Stanley Wrenn, Ollie Jack "O.J." Wrenn, Jr., and William Arthur "Bill" Wrenn.

Lucille is survived by her daughters, Quinn Thomas of Raleigh, Cheryl Bentley of Rocky Mount, and Marcie Daniels of Weatherford, TX; 3 grandchildren; her brother, Russell "Pete" Wrenn of Louisburg; and her sister, Marie Wiggs of Raleigh.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Rocky Mount.
