Betty "Kay" Pridgen, 63, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024. She was born August 30, 1961 in Nash County to the late Shad and Inez Williams Pridgen.

Betty is survived by her brothers, Jerry Pridgen and wife Melody, Herbert Pridgen and wife Joyce; sisters, Carolyn Baker and husband Chip, Christy Poland and husband Jason; nieces, great niece and great nephew, and a great-great niece; and her aunt.

A graveside service was held September 15, 2024 with Rev. Jimmy Reavis and Rev. Billy Webb officiating at William's Family Cemetery.
