Mary Emma Riggs Thoman, 88, passed away, Saturday, September 21, 2024. She was born June 13, 1936 in Halifax County to the late Thomas and Emma Midgett Riggs. Mary was also preceded by her husband Wallace Thoman of 38 years; sisters, Sylvia "Boo"Boo" Riggs and Betty Riggs.

She is survived by two sons, Teddy W. Thoman (Betty) and Timmy D. Thoman (Mary); daughter, Melody Jarman; sister, Betty A. Sherrod (Claude); 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren,
