ROCKY MOUNT - Zola Catherine "Cathy" Watson Shearin, 67, passed away September 28, 2024. She was born March 4, 1957 to the late F.C. and Mary Catherine Watson. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Amy Carlini; brothers Walter and Glenn Watson; sisters Mary Louise Varnell and Nancy Moore.
Cathy is survived by her son Dan Harrell (Stephanie); three grandchildren; brothers George (Wendy), Lynn (Christine), Charles (Betty), David (Kim) and James (Polly) Watson; sisters Barbara Gallick, Betty Frances Gardner (Wilbur) and Lisa Taylor (Russell); many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Red Oak Cemetery with Rev. Lin Robinson officiating. |
