Funeral services for Ionas Mitchell, age 68, who died on Wednesday, Noveber 20, 2024, were held November 30 at the First Baptist Church in Louisburg.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Mitchell of Louisburg; five sisters, Gwendolyn Dublin of Wake Forest, Mary Brown (Patrick) of Pensacoloa, FL, Stella Smith of Louisburg, Emma Mitchell of Raleigh and Shirley Tucker of Wendell; two brothers, Otis Michell and James Mitchell, both of Louisburg; one granddaughter and one grandson.
