NASHVILLE - Alie Burt Cooper Pearcey, age 82, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. Born in Edgecombe County on January 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Arrington Cooper, Jr. and Christine Richardson Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Pearcey.
Alie is survived by her daughter, Christy Sue Privette and her spouse, Natasha Barfield; her son, John Cooper Privette and his spouse, Eric Knapp; and many extended family members and dearest friends.
A Special Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Alie's life will be on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alie's name to the Nash County Animal Shelter, 921 N 1st St, Nashville, NC 27856. |
