Carolyn Wilder Bayse, 78, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born on November 3,1946, in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Ray and Cletus Simpson Wilder.

She is survived by her son Douglas Bayse (Tina) of Ohio; daughter Jennifer Peyatt (Hance) of Rocky Mount; a younger sister Patricia Chamnes of Chesapeake, Virginia;11 grandchildren; Peyatt (Lorie) and Seth Peyatt; 18 great- grandchildren.

A memorial service was held December 15, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Lin Robinson officiating.
