ROCKY MOUNT- Linwood Crumpler Weeks, Sr., 88, passed away December 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Silas Weeks, Sr., and Edna Crumpler Weeks; his wife of 61 years, Mary Alice Jones Weeks; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Moore Weeks Petty and Vernon; Martha Barnes Weeks Gupton and Grover; his brothers, John S. Weeks, Jr., and his wife Lois; Joseph Weeks and his wife Clara, and Robert Weeks; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Jones Joyner and Rae Bass Jones; and brother-in-law Ryland T. Williamson.
He is survived by his son, Linwood C. Weeks, Jr., and daughter-in-love Deanna Davis of Rocky Mount; son, David Weeks and daughter-in-law Anica of Nashville; son, Timothy Weeks and daughter-in-love Kyndra Kindler of Apex; and son Kenneth Weeks and daughter-in-love Erin Roarty of Raleigh; three grandchildren; his sister-in-law Marie Williamson and brother-in-law Leslie Jones, Jr., both of Rocky Mount, along with his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at Westview Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, on December 18, 2024. |
