ROCKY MOUNT - Virginia Janosik Howlett, age 70, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Born in Hopewell, VA on March 23, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Joseph James Janosik and Hazel Virginia Cheely Janosik. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Earl Howlett Jr.; her daughter, Christine Hope Howlett; and her brothers, Jared Janosik and Ronnie Janosik.
Virginia is survived by her sons, Madison Howlett (Annin), Jamie Powers (Melissa), and Jeremy Powers (Felisha); nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount. Burial will follow the service at Oakdale Cemetery in Spring Hope. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. |
