Carrie Shearin Young, 94, passed away January 15, 2025. She was born January 28, 1930 to the late James and Edna Shearin. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband George Young; brothers Horace, Raymond, Buck, Joe; sisters Mary, Lullabelle, Christine and Ruth.

Carrie is survived by her daughters Carolyn Boone, Tanya Sanders and Deborah Stevens (Larry); three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

A service was held January 19, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial was private.
