Lizzie Ann Gupton Alston, age 75, passed away January 24, 2025.

Funeral services were held February 1, 2025 at Luther Chapel Holiness Church in Castalia. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Edward Alston; her children, Annette Payne and Bridgette Gupton of Louisburg; two grandchildren; stepchildren, Mary Alston and Michael Alston of Wake Forest and Angel Alston of Raleigh; one sister, Alice Marie Williamson of Rocky Mount.
