Phillip Augusta Edwards, 80, passed away March 17, 2025. He was born July 5, 1944, in Nash County, to the late Gus and Elizabeth Windborne Edwards. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Robin Edwards; daughter Michelle Edwards Joyner; son Mark Edwards; brothers Carl, Laverne and Keith Edwards; sister Delores Burnette.

Phillip is survived by his son Terry Edwards and wife Lana; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
