ARLINE ROSE
SPRINGFIELD, Va. – Arline Emma Swartwood Rose, 88, formerly of Nashville, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006. A graveside service was held on Thursday, Aug. 31 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville with Dr. Carleton McKita officiating.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Oct. 10, 1917, the daughter of the late Josiah Baker Swartwood and Josephine Henrietta Lohman Swartwood. Her husband, Milton Watson Rose, and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Betty Rose of Fairfax Station, Va., and Ronald and Carol Rose of Fort Washington, Md.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
