Charles Exum Hunter, Jr., age 48 of Whitakers, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010. He was born March 23, 1962 in Nash County.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Renee Powell Hunter; his parents, Charles and Lela Hunter; sister, Felicia Hunter; brother, William Hunter and Kim; several special nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda Bozard and husband Rod, Steve Powell and wife Helen, Beth Jones and husband Lee; numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Enfield with Rev. Alvin Davis officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
