Wrongful death lawsuit is about more than money
Wrongful death lawsuit is about more than money

A story made national headlines last week involving iconic American brand Disney and a man whose wife died after eating an improperly prepared meal at the resort. It's a heartbreaking case that provokes anger when looked at closely.
Jeff Piccolo and his wife, Dr. Kanokporn Tangsuan, ate at Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs last fall. Piccolo said one of the reasons they chose the restaurant is that it was known for accommodating food allergies, according to NBC News.

There seems to be a lot on the table at the Nash Arts Center

Sometimes a sales pitch can sound pretty good. I can't help but think of those informercials selling vacuum cleaners. They constantly attempt to convince us how much better their machine is and how much easier it's going to make our life while pouring all types of things on the floor and comparing their machine against another.

Crisis always brings us closer to God
Crisis always brings us closer to God

We have a friend who had a near-fatal accident several years ago. She was returning home from a church outing in moderate rain when her van began to hydroplane. The vehicle plummeted down a steep embankment and turned over several times. She, and the teenagers who were with her, escaped serious injury in spite of the circumstances.
She knew she was more than lucky and realized their lives had been spared by God's grace.

Intersections: God and Life
Intersections: God and Life

This fifteenth stanza of Psalm 119 continues the train of thought from the previous section. In verses 105-112, the psalmist expresses his determination to live for God. That is what we find in this section. But there is a slight yet important difference.
• The previous section declares his determination to live for God because of.
• This present section declares his determination to live for God in spite of.
